Campari Orange

Italy and Campari Orange, what a mix!

When I think of Italy, I think of Goethe, the warmth, the wonderful drinks, the people who create wonderful wines and menus, the lightness of being, the mountains and motorcycles.

Just as Goethe loved to travel, I love to go on pilgrimage by motorcycle. A t-shirt and off to the track. My husband and I love to leave our mark on the roads together. Kissed by the road and the sun, we stop somewhere in the evening and tell each other our impressions that we have gathered on the road and drink our favorite drinks beer and Campari Orange:-).

Although I must admit that I have a quirk with my alcoholic beverage - on the mountain climbing and on the slopes I add alcoholic fermentation to my body only in the evening of the last stage.

As for the portrait, this kind of painting is not usually my approach. There are bright colors and a lightness anchored in this painting that I otherwise miss. Still, I wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way. The type of glaze and the colors do great justice to the drink - the lightness of being and the bitter aftertaste of going home again.

Today, the "Campari Orange" hangs in an inspiring place and I hope the customer feels the Italian warmth during the winter months.

See you

Susan
